Back with a bang
There has been a lack of posts the last three weeks which is like three years in blog time. But don’t worry dear readers, Practice and Playoffs? is very much alive. In fact, I may have a few guest writers on so that I can build my fortune and cash a $360,000,000,000 check.
Even though I’ve been busy with school and have stopped updating, don’t think I haven’t been paying attention. In the last 24 hours, there really has only been one thing on my mind: BRENDAN MORROW!

What a stud…
Now I’m debating whether to get his j-shirt or Modano’s. Mike definitely has more name recognition but good god, how can I choose over Morrow now? But if you guys didn’t catch the epic 4OT thriller last night, I don’t know what to say to you. I guess I can go find the youtube and post it for you assholes.
And yea I know not everyone gets VS and we’re not in Canada with TSN blah blah, so check out hockeywebcasts.com. They always have the games streamed, probably illegally.
Celtics/Cavs series start tomorrow. It’s really going to be interesting to see the extremes of this Cleveland team. The games they’ll win in this series, they’ll look amazing and the games they’ll lose, they’ll look like they belong in the D-league. I’m still rooting for that old school Lakers-Celtics final which made me think this was hilarious.
But now, Papa John’s has tried to make peace with Bron and issues this crappy apology. Who cares what Papa John’s thinks of LeBron James. Just keep making pizzas! It would’ve been hilarious if they made an applesauce pizza dedicated to LeBron. (Get it? Get it?!?! Babies like applesauce!)

that hit on michaelek was nuts. nabokov’s save on richards in the first OT was nuts. but that announcer just seriously said “sirjay zubov.”

yea…and called brad, mike richards. espn sucks.

hahaha, I didn’t even notice that…but I know on versus they’d always be like “mi- I mean brad richards…” of course they’ve also called robidas, mike robidas. I guess it’s too confusing with mike ribeiro or something. but it’s not surprising that an overpaid player in the east and not a conn smythe winner in the west is the first player the media thinks of when hearing “richards.” right now the NHL is freaking out that the stars could be in the finals. the wings, pens and flyers are markets they love and they’d be cool with having something like the big bad red wings against the kid(s).
it’s kind of like how the assumed calgary/tampa would be terrible when it really ended up being one of the most exciting finals in this decade.
