What to watch for…

Los Angeles Lakers vs. New Jersey Nets 6:30 CMT, NBA network: Pau Gasol might play his first game as a Laker tonight. After the trade, the Lakers are definitely my pick to win the West. When Bynum comes back, Phil will have a decision on his hands of what his starting five will look like. My suggestion is to keep Bynum on the bench and start Gasol at the five and Lamar Odom at the four. That would put Luke Walton at SF and the Lakers would still have a three man fast break which is now almost essential in today’s NBA.

A championship combo? We shall see.
